What a life we live in where someone's SORROW is another person's JOY.


Where someone's DOWNFALL is another person's BREAKTHROUGH.


Where someone's STORY is a LESSON unto another.


Where someone's MISFORTUNE is a BLESSING unto another.


For how long will people say 'it will be well'?


For how long will I have to scream for help?


For how long will life continue to be like this?


What a selfish world;
I'm broken, battered and bruised.


I've got scars just like memories, hard to see because there are no open bruises.


The damage is done, buried deep down.


Where is the love, joy, peace that brightens the path of man?


Where is that special feeling, of happiness and pleasure?


•Joy has been -murdered;


•Love-imprisoned;


•Happiness-sentenced to death;


•Peace-destroyed.


For how long do I need to shed tears?


For how long will my scars last?


Why can't people just act according to Philippians 2:4:

"...do not merely look for your own personal interests but also for the interest of others...".


Can't we just bear one another's burdens?


Why can't we just


live simply that others might live?
